Backup before upgrade

Before upgrade or as a general periodic backup procedure, follow these steps

Backup installation files

1. Stop Binfer service.
2. Open file explorer and navigate to the Binfer installation location. This was specified during installation.
3. Copy all files to another location or zip them and name the archive appropriately.

Backup system data

1. Ensure Binfer service is stopped.
2. Open file explorer and navigate to the Binfer system location. This was specified during installation.
3. Copy all files to another location or zip them and name the archive appropriately.

Undo an upgrade

If for some reason upgrade is not satisfactory then to restore to previous version, follow these steps

1. Stop Binfer service.
2. Delete installation files and restore from the previously backed up version.
3. Delete system files and restore from the previously backed up version.
